Minnesotans for an Energy-Efficient
Economy - Sustainable Minnesota is a project of Minnesotans for an Energy-Efficient
Economy (ME3) and the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR). We hope
that these pages will help citizens and organizations in Minnesota and
the region get timely information to promote sustainable energy policies.
Minnesota
Green Power Directory - Your
investment in Green Power supports the development of wind
turbines in Minnesota, such as this turbine on farmland in
Pipestone County that supplies electricity to Xcel Energy's
WindSource progam.
MN law requires that utilities offer green power to
their customers. Interested consumers will make an
additional payment for each "block" of renewable
energy they wish to purchase.
Alliance to Save Energy - The
Alliance to Save Energy promotes energy efficiency worldwide to achieve a
healthier economy, a cleaner environment and energy security. Energy
efficiency is the quickest, cheapest, cleanest way to extend our nation's energy
supplies.
Renewable Energy Policy Project - REPP's goal is to
accelerate the use of renewable energy by providing credible
information, insightful policy analysis, and innovative
strategies amid changing energy markets and mounting
environmental needs by researching, publishing, and
disseminating information, creating policy tools, and
hosting highly active, on-line, renewable energy discussion
groups.

(Energy Efficient Building Association) - The
Energy Efficient Building Association promotes the awareness, education
and development of energy efficient, environmentally responsible buildings
and communities.
Millennium

web site was created so anyone can check out real-time temperate
data from in and out of the home. It also provides information about the energy efficient building technologies used to build this home.
MREA

Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) is a network for sharing ideas,
resources, and information with individuals, businesses, and communities to
promote a sustainable future through renewable energy and energy efficiency. The
MREA is working to protect the environment by educating the public about
appropriate use of natural resources to meet our energy needs.
